Lake Leelanau Rowing Club
Lake Leelanau Rowing Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization serving the Greater Grand Traverse area and all Northern Michigan communities. We offer recreational adult and high school competitive rowing, sculling education and sport. On the grounds and lakefront at Fountain Point Resort, Michigan’s oldest waterfront resort, and a national historic district, rowers and scullers travel from all over the state, region, and country to experience and enjoy Lake Leelanau’s 20 miles of idyllic and highly varied waters.
The LLRC offers opportunities for rowers of all ages and experience levels. It all starts with your LLRC membership which gives you two semi private lessons with head coach and Olympic world rower, Viktor Grebennykov. New rowers will gain the “how to” skills of sculling and being on the water with ease and comfort. Seasoned rowers will have the opportunity to continue to fine tune their skills with one on one attention and technical training pointers from Viktor. After you sign up for membership with semi private lessons choose from gold, diamond and platinum level packages based on your desired rowing frequency! Do you have a group of friends or co-workers who want to row together? We have a program package for you too. Click on the Master Program Tab for info on program structure, pricing, hours and contact for booking your lessons today!
Experience the joy of being a part of the most successful youth sports program in Northern Michigan! Our community of young athletes experience and grow within an atmosphere of team driven goal setting and technical application on and off the water.
